they know things will get tougher, not easier as they get stronger. And it is their success in GvG that is the main deciding factor. Then was in a multi world guild for years whose founder. Any guild I have been in that were looking to merge with another I up and left before it happened. I have seen to many problems arise from guild mergers (and not just with GvG) that I have Stayed clear of them. Basically people are getting fed up of GBG despite the rewards, because of the time it takes and the stress it can cause. And in talking to friends who play in other worlds (including some who thought GvG would have died by now) some are saying the same thing. some only play on the phone, but now want to try the game on a laptop so they can get in on the fun. They can see their efforts are helping the guild move up. Doing that has brought the guild together like nothing else. Really like GE (some can already do all 4 levels) BUT they enjoy GvG the best as they love the one on one fighting and the fact that they have just taken to top spot in Iron Age GvG. They look om GBG as a bit of a chore that has to be done.
They are now hooked and are having a great time doing GE. It now has 16 members and decided to try GvG just for curiosity. In another world I agreed to help the Founder of a little Iron Age guild to get their guild going. In my main city the number of members getting into GvG and really enjoying it on a nightly basis has increased in the last year. I guess I must be playing a different game.
